Green Cross Veterinary Products Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that it has obtained ISO 22000, the international standard for food safety management systems.

ISO 22000 is a globally recognized system jointly developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). It aims to prevent, eliminate, and control food-related hazards throughout the entire process—from production to consumption.

With this certification, GCVP plans to further strengthen its internal quality management system, enhance employee training, and improve awareness of food-safety principles. The company aims to establish a robust safety management framework and develop the ability to respond swiftly to any potential safety issues.

The acquisition of ISO 22000 is also expected to have a positive impact on GCVP’s global market expansion, as this internationally recognized certification enhances the credibility and competitiveness of its products in overseas markets.
